Class Descriptions
Babytots:
A program of developmental movement and sensory motor experiences designed to guide you in helping your
child 1 to 2 years of age reach his or her physical, mental and emotional potential. Parents will enjoy interacting with
their child while concentrating on motor skills, eye, hand and foot coordination, strength, and flexibility, and concept
development. Each child takes class with a parent.
TumbleBug, TumbleBears, Kindertumble:
This program introduces children between the ages of 3 to 5 to basic gymnastics
skills, aerobics, body awareness, motor skills and rhythms. A variety of equipment is used in a safe environment to
provide your child with an outlet of expression, creativity, and discovery. A student/teacher ratio of 5 to 1 is maintained
in each class. Kindertumble has a 6 to 1 ratio.
SuperBears*:
Children who have mastered the basics gymnastics and motor skills in the preschool class, may be chosen
to participate in this more advanced class for 5 year olds. Emotional and social maturity is considered when a student is
recommended for SuperBears. This class is 1-1/2 hrs long and the student-teacher ratio is 6 ro 1.
School Age Classes (ages 6 and up):Our after school classes teach basic gymnastics at various levels for boys and girls
6 and up. The class level is determined by the child's ability. The student may move from one level to the next by
passing pre-set skill requirements. All of the Olympic events are taught and a 7 to 1 student-teacher ratio is maintained
in classes.
Tumbling Classes (ages 6 and up):
These classses include work on beginning floor basics through advanced skills. It is an excellent class for cheerleaders and dancers who want to learn new skills or perfect the skills they have already achieved. The student/teacher ratio is 8 to 1.
Competitive Program**:
Membership on our teams is on a qualification basis, with strict participation and attendance
requirements. All of our class students have the opportunity to progress to the competitive level through class
advancement.
